Missing things

Is it just me or on tumblr do we miss important posts written by friends because of the liner dash system that makes tumblr what it is?

Although I make an effort to go to my friends blogs actual URL and read it there I still seem to miss posts only seeing them days sometimes even weeks after they were written.

This seams to be an inherent flaw in tumblr.
